1. Place a Wet Fly Hok in the Vice
2. Start thread, and catch in a fine wire (for the rib) and secure towards the bend of the hook.
3. Tie in a bunch of Pheasant Tail fibres leaving the tips showing as a tail.
4. Wind the Pheasant Tail fibres to create a body and secure - do not trim off the excess at this point. Follow this up by ribbing with the wire rib - remove the excess wire when done.
5. Fold the Pheasant tail Fibresback and secure with thread wraps.
6. Apply dubbing to the thread and wrap to create a thorax.
7. Pull the Pheasant Tail fibres over the back of the thorax to create a wing case - secure with wraps of tying thread and trim off the excess.
8. Finish building the head, whip finish and varnish to complete.
